Abstract

Open source software has become a driving force behind innovation and collaboration. However, industrial use of open source often faces unique challenges when it comes to effectively contributing to open source projects.

This presentation will give an overview of the drivers and challenges of active open source engagement from the perspective of a large industrial enterprise.

Short Bio

Chris is Open Source Officer at Bosch Research and member of Bosch’s corporate Open Source Expert Team. Since joining Bosch Research a decade ago Chris has been working on a wide range of open source topics from compliance to strategy. Currently, he focuses on working with internal teams to help with their open source contributions and strategy.
