Once again this year, the LHFT was able to secure numerous prizes at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) Student Design Competition.

Nicole Zocher and André Scheder took first place in the “Tunable Impedance Matching Network” competition.

Second place went to Tobias Kögel and André Scheder for their “1-8 GHz Component Less Bias Tee”.

There were two third places for “Reflectionless High-pass Filter Design for Load-Pull Measurement Setups” and “mmWave Dual Band 3D Printed Antenna”. The winning filter was designed by Nicole Zocher, Leonhard Hahn, Maximilian Glossner and Lukas Witte, and the award-winning antenna was developed and 3D-printed by Simon Pietschmann, Tobias Bader and Felix Bachbauer.

Congratulations to all participants on this outstanding achievement!
